About Chalni

Chalni is a stock scanner for US and world markets. You describe the stocks you want in plain English or with dropdown menus, and Chalni lists every stock that matches. Then it tests your scan on data it never saw, so you know if the idea still works before you put money on it.

Chalni means "sieve" in Hindi and Marathi: something that lets the small stuff fall through and keeps what you want. That is what a good scanner does with thousands of stocks.

Chalni is being built in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India, for traders everywhere, with US stocks first.

What we promise

• We show when a scan fails. Most popular scans do not beat the average stock after costs, and we say so.
• The live demo uses made-up sample data, and it says so on every screen. Real, licensed market data comes at launch.
• Chalni is a tool, not advice. It finds stocks that match your rules; you decide what to trade.
