• We only use your email to tell you about Chalni.
• We never sell or rent your email to anyone.
• You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Who we are

Chalni (chalni.com) is a stock scanner being built in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. For any question about your data, write to chalni.business@gmail.com. This address is also our contact for complaints under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

What we collect when you join the waitlist

• Your email address, and only if you tick the box that allows us to email you.
• Your answers: your country, what you trade and which scanner you use now.
• The language you chose on the page, and the website or link that brought you to us, if any.
• The country our network detects, your browser type, and a scrambled code made from your internet address. We cannot turn that code back into your address. We keep these only to stop spam and fake sign-ups.

Why we collect it

• To email you when early access opens, and to send a few launch updates.
• To understand what traders want, by counting answers together. For example, how many people trade US stocks.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your details.
• We do not use advertising trackers or cookies.
• We do not follow you around. We only count how many times our home page is opened each day, and which website or link people came from (for example, reddit.com). We keep only these totals, nothing about who opened the page.
• The live demo remembers your chosen language and price country only inside your own browser. This never reaches us.

Where it is kept and for how long

Your details are kept in a database run by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Cloudflare may store data in data centres outside India. We keep your details until 12 months after launch, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your details at any time. Write to chalni.business@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with. We reply within 30 days. Every email we send you will also tell you how to stop getting emails from us.

Age

Chalni is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please do not join the waitlist.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
